Removing items from Standard toolbar? (2002)

Rather than Add items to this Toolbar, I want to remove a couple, but cannot find a way of doing this.

    Ideas, please? Thanks!

Select Tools | Customize... or right-click the toolbar and select Customize...
Drag the buttons you want to remove away from the toolbar, until an x appears next to the mouse pointer, then release the mouse button. Or right-click an item and select Delete.
If you mess up the toolbar too much, you can reset it in the Toolbars tab of the Customize dialog.

    Added:

Remember, the Standard toolbar changes like a chameleon: in Calendar, it displays other buttons than in Inbox, etc.

Right-clicking the item and pressing Delete was about the only thing I didn't try!
