    Excel 2000 to 2002 macro (Excel 2002)

    Hi,

    I have a macro which uses the PrintTitles and PrintArea which was developed in Excel 2000, I am trying to run it on Excel 2002 and get macro errors on these functions, I expect there will be other functions as well, can anybody give me some pointers to fixing this.

    Regards

    Mike

    Can you be more specific? What code are you using, and what is the error that occurs? In itself, PrintTitles and PrintArea are still available in Excel 2002 VBA, and as far as I know, they work the same as in previous versions.

    Hi Hans

    This is the piece of code that goes wrong

    With ActiveSheet.PageSetup
    .PrintTitleRows = ""
    .PrintTitleColumns = ""
    End With
    ActiveSheet.PageSetup.PrintArea = ""

    If I comment out the With/End With then the error moves to the PrintArea

    The error I get is error 1004 "unable to set the PrintTitlesRow property of the PageSetup Class"

    I have a number of users using this macro but since one of them upgraded to 2002 they get this error.

    Regards

    Mike
