Strange Messages-Spyware? (6.0 SP2)

I have a computer here in my office that has strange messages appearing every time the user goes to the print dialog screen. I think they must be tied to spyware. I have installed and run Spybot and removed 120 threatening files but the messages are still there. These messages are not part of the print dialog screen but are right at the bottom of it. These are the messages: "To order ink for your Brother HL-1440 series printer, click on Order." "No Anti-virus software detected. Unprotected from recent viruses." There is a Tell Me More button, an Order button, and a Purchase button.
I do have anti-virus software running and working! I even called Brother to ask if this was some type of marketing and they assured me it was not from them. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Any suggestions on how to get rid of it? This user is able to print. We just don't want these annoying messages!

Yes, I have heard of this... now where?? Have they tried running AdAware as well? Next, try HijackThis. Something inappropriate must be running....

Thanks, guys. I installed and ran Ad-ware. That seems to have taken care of the problem. I've noted the address for SpywareBlaster should anything else arise.
How often are you guys running these programs? Daily, weekly, monthly, when a problem arises?

I try and run mine once a week. It depends on how much unrestricted browsing you do. If you're a heavy surfer, then more often may be more appropriate.

I run SpywareBlaster, Ad-Aware and Spybot everyday - just to see if there are any updates required...just like I do my NAV (which runs in the background, of course) <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>...one can't be too careful <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

It was in the Lounge a while back. Somehow they modified the print dialog! Interesting software.
