Import e-mail acct - out of resources ?! (2000)

My wife and I have different e-mai accounts on the same ISP. I exported my Outlook 2000 account, logged in to the PC (Windows 2000) as my wife, imported the account (iaf file), changed the user information on the General tab to match my wife's ID, changed the account name on the Incoming Mail Server area under the Server tab.
Every time I try to send/receive I get an error message "Out of memory or system resources. Try closing other programs to free additional memory." This is a bogus message because nothing else is running.
What's going on?
Thanks in advance.

Outlook account settings can be a temperamental. Try re-entering them all again by hand. If that doesn't take, try copying them onto a piece of paper, deleting the account and then re-entering them. Certainly, this is not the kind of the that should be happening with computers. That is what we have the Export and Import facilities for! Nonetheless, that may well be your best option. Logically, one might believe that the computer is recognising that you are cloning your own settings and stopping it. OTOH, it is a fact that settings can suddenly be "lost"/corrupted on an existing account - requiring the action I have mentioned. Hope This Helps
