    super search (Access 2k)

    Hi,
    I have a main form frmHousehold and a sub from sfrmApplicants. I have created two search buttons (one in the main form & one in the subform). Is there a way to create just one Super Search button instead whereby, when the user clicks on, will return all records in both main and subform?

    Thanks,

    OCM

    What do you want the "Super Search Button" to do? To "return all records in both main and subform" is not very specific (you wouldn't need a button for that <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>)

    I'm not sure I understand. Perhaps this:

    Private Sub cmdShowAll_Click()
    Me.FilterOn = False
    End Sub

    If you turn off the filter in the main form to show all records, the subform will be requeried too, and show all records.
