    Copy field in a table (Access 2000)

    Copy the content of a field into another field

    In my table Customers i want to copy the content of the field "Employee"
    which is a text field, into the field MOL, also a text field
    Can somebody help me ?

    You can create an update query to do this. If you want to copy Employee to MOL in all records, the SQL for the query would be

    UPDATE Customers SET MOL = Employee

    If you only want to do this for specific records, add the appropriate criteria. This corresponds to a WHERE clause in the SQL, for example:

    UPDATE Customers SET MOL = Employee WHERE Country = "France"
