    VScript and WMI

I have written a VB Script that pulls information from WMI and puts it in a CSV file. What I need to do is where there is no object ie no cdrom drive, I need to add a comma to the file so that everything appears in the corect column. I can't seem to do this. I have tried using if statements but that doesn't work.

    Any ideas??

    TIA

    Just a few questions... <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
    1. <LI>When you get the data back from WMI, what does it look like? Do you retrieve each item individually or do you get a string/array of some kind?
<LI>How do you organize the data into a string to write the CSV file, or is that handled automatically somewhere?
It should be easier to help if we know those things.
