Excel 2000 Eating Up Resources (2000)

Hi. Just yesterday, Windows 98 would get unstable and crash every time I exited Excel. This would not occur with any other Office app. I've done the repair/reinstall thing with no change in results. I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar and found a solution. Thanks.

Take a look at Pieterse's <!post=Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in XL,290455>Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in XL<!/post>. Although written to solve problems with starting Excel, it may also help pinpointing the cause of exit problems.

Many thanks, Hans. It turned out to be the Excel toolbar file that had been corrupted.
