How to delete Excel Macro? (XP SP-1)

    Hi,

The screenshot shows a "Delete" button but it's greyed out.

How can I delete this macro?

    Thanks.

If you know where this macro resides (which workbook):

    - Make sure the workbook with the macro is not hidden (like personal.xls usually is)
    - make sure the workbook with the macro is on top
    - press F5 (goto)
    - type the name of the macro
    - OK
    - now select all lines of the macro from Sub to End Sub and hit the del key.
    - close the Visual Basic Editor
    - If it was hidden, hide the file again
    - close excel and Yes to the prompt to save the (hidden) file

One other possibility: is the workbook shared? (In Tools | Share Workbook...)? You can't edit or delete macros in a shared workbook.
