    Pictures in email (Outlook 2000)

    Hi all,
Is it possible in Outlook 2000 to email pictures? I don't mean as attachments, but as the picture appears on the Net or in My Pictures. So when the email is opened you would see the picture, without having to click on the attachment to open it? Gotta be a way, right?

    Thanks

In HTML-format message, you can display pictures inline. Click where you want it and use Insert>Picture. You either can use a URL or click Browse to insert from your hard drive. If you use a URL, you have the choice to send only the URL or to send the picture data as part of your message. The first will send faster but the recipient needs to stay online to retrieve the image; the second bulks up your message a bit more. For pictures inserted from your hard drive, they are always embedded into the message. If you're concerned about how big the message is, save it and then check its properties.
