Windows XP Pro with sp1 (Windows XP SR1)

Not having any luck getting an answer from Microsoft (big surprise). Does anyone know if Microsoft makes a Windows xp Pro installation disk that already includes sr1. The reason: I have a drive larger that 137 gig. I re-installed Win XP Pro a few months ago. Durring the process it runs a check disk on all partitions. It trashed my partition that crossed the 137 gig barrier. SR1 handles larger drives but durring a re-install sr1 isn't up yet. Anyone have any ideas on this? I now have 2 drives larger that 137 gig.
    Thanks

Yes. You may be able to get MS to send you one if you get the right person. Here's a site with directions for creating a slipstreamed SP-1 CD Create a bootable xp sp1 installation cd. The are others. You can easily find many with a quick google search for "slipstream xp sp1".

First, embed SP-1 to WinXP using the instructions for Win2000 (you can even add pre-SP2 patches):
Making a Bootable Windows 2000 CD with Service Pack Integrated

Then, burn bootable WinXP Installation CD:

Re: Windows XP Pro with sp1 (Windows XP SR1)

OK, I just did everything it said{Slipstreaming} to make a bootable XPSP1 CD. Nero showed that it was done right and completed properly with the burning. I set my computer to boot from CD and it would not. I can run the CD from Windows and it starts up with the WinXP window and everything, so I know all the files for XP made it alright. But I am not sure what I did wrong for it not to boot from CD. Any Ideas what I should look for to see if it's missing a file or something?
Now I know I can use the Boot CD's for XP and then run the WinXPSP1 CD, but I wanted to make the XPSP1 CD bootable.

OK I got it to work. I had to use a different boot file. Found one called "xpboot.bin" file that worked. The Microsoft Corporation.img file didn't work.

I tried the method in the shortcut on the first reply above. It worked just fine. Good stuff. Thanks again.
