    removing an addin via code (2000)

    We have an Excel addin located in a folder that Excel looks in to autoload teh addin. We no longer what the addin to autoload but rather we load it. We haven't had any trouble using the new code installed on a PC that did not previously have the addin being used, but on those PC's that had the addin in the autoload location we first must unselect the addin via the addins dialog, then browse for it which then we are first asked if we wish to remove the previous addin, which we answer yes, and then connect up to the new one. The question is how does one do this via code? We know how to unselect the addin using the addins object but how do you remove the old one?

    Jim,

    To install an addin with VBA:
    <pre> AddIns("Conditional Sum Wizard").Installed = True
    </pre>

    To remove an addin with VBA:
    <pre> AddIns("Conditional Sum Wizard").Installed = False
    </pre>
