Driver for Plotter

I was in someone's office who is still running WFW 3.11because they cannot find a driver for a Cutting Plotter. The plotter is a DGI Omega OM-60. I tried googling but could not find anything useful. Anyone have any ideas or is there a generic driver I could use to upgrade his computer.
Thanks

Re: Driver for Plotter

I found this through Google - http://www.omega.com/software/. 25th item down the list - OM-60 Software.

Hope this helps.

I looked at it. Can you imagine that there are 2 machines with that name- one a printer one a digital thermometer!

Oops... who'd have thunk that?

I guess it's no worse than HP having a few '1000' line printers, being laserjets, deskjets, officejets, etc....

I can't imagine a digital thermometer would need a WFW 3.11 driver...

We are also suffering from "TLA re-use" (they're not acronyms, but that's another argument). Just as an example, try looking up just how many things have RAS as their abbreviation!

Try this pre-programmed Google search which seems to offer a range of suppliers offering software, including Sign Wizard in the UK and Corbin Graphics in Canada.

Thanks for the info, but I get the impression that these machines use a special piece of software rather than just a regular driver to communicate with Windows.

I have windows drivers for my digital thermometers. I also have humidity meters of a similar design. These are pretty standard pieces of measuring equipment.

I was thinking of the sort of digital thermometer that you stick in children's ears... Gives them no chance to say "I've got a temperature" and then sneaking the mercury thermometer under the hot tap...!

And the really neat feature is they can't hear you telling their other parent that they are malingering.

I was referring to the plotter cutter that started this discussion.
Thanks
