    Mapping (2000 SR-1)

    Hi Gang.

I am trying to use the mapping feature of excel using postal codes and got it to work with US zips, but it chokes on Canadian codes. So, what's up, eh?

Hmmm. From the lack of responses I take it that nobody uses the mapping function in Excel, or my poor attempts at humor offended. If it's the latter, I appologize. If it's the former, I guess I'm stuck.

Anyhoo, I did'nt want to leave my original post lonely out there - unanswered.

I don't think the lack of replies had to do with the way you stated your question. I saw your question, but expected US or Canadian loungers to post a reply. A search in the Knowledge Base turned up the following articles:
XL2000: Microsoft Map May Hang When You Insert Canadian Postal Codes
HOW TO: Use Microsoft Map to Display Postal Code Centers in Excel 2000

Just to let you know that I was in the same boat as <!profile=HansV>HansV<!/profile> - in terms of deferring to our North American colleagues. Have a great Holiday Season!
