Printing UPC codes in Word (XP sp2)

Is there a way to type a number and convert it to UPC for printing in Word?

You need a UPC barcode font to print a UPC code - see this Google search.

To generate valid UPC codes, you need a 6 digit company code from the UCC. You can then create your own 5-digit product codes, and compute the check digit - see here. Combined, you get a 12 digit number; enter this in Word and set its font to the UPC barcode font.

    Hans, thanks for the information on UPC Codes <img src=/S/thankyou.gif border=0 alt=thankyou width=40 height=15>. I have always wondered how they were determined. <img src=/S/compute.gif border=0 alt=compute width=40 height=20>
