I have 3 computers connected to a DLink router. 2 are Windows 98 and 1 Windows XP Pro. One of the Win 98 cannot connect to the internet but have no problems accessing or being accessed by the other computers.
Any ideas?

Do you have the same "Work Group" name on all machines?
Do each computer have a different computer name?
Check you firewall software to make sure the machine that is not working has not been blocked?
Make sure that the firewall is NOT blocking the browser?
Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
Each computer have different names and the workgroup names are all the same.
No firewall on Windows 98 machines.
Are you using DHCP on the PC in question? Run WINIPCFG (Start - Run - WINIPCFG and see what the configuration of your networking settings are.
Also, try running the Internet Connection Wizard in Internet Explorer. You can open this through the Tools - Options - Connections in Internet Explorer or from Internet Settings in Control Panel. Click Setup to start the wizard.

Have you tried using a tool other than Internet Explorer to access the Internet?
Please try a simple command such as "Ping www.wopr.com" from a command window.
If this works then you may have an Internet Explorer problem. If this fails then check the default gateway from IPCONFIG and make sure it is the same as on the other computers.
