    PDA

Time to buy my spouse a PDA, but which one? Looking at a Palm TungstonE, but feel clueless. Any advise amongst the chosen?

Sony's CLIE line is very nice. The jog dial and rotating screens are but a few of the advanced design features that set them apart. Take a look at their buying guide.

My advice, since I've never used one apart from my partner's venerable Psion Series 3a occasionally, would be to find out what she really, really, wants in a personal organiser, and ensure that you exceed her expectations!

I will second WyllyWylly - The Sony CLIE is nice - had mine now for about 6 months and would be lost without it.

    Re: PDA

Strangely enough, I do not own a Clie, but I lust for the one that my sister's boyfriend has (go figure, he refuses to let me have it). That, along with the fact that I cannot justify to myself why I need a nice shiny new Clie when my Handspring does everything I need! Palm envy, you might say. I have a Handspring Visor Pro, which I also like very much, but you can no longer get new ones since the company merged with Palm.

If she's a closet gamer, check out the Zodiac from Tapwave. Currently only available direct from the company, so getting it under the tree tomorrow night probably is out of the question.

I'd search PDA's and specific PDA's here. They have some good straight up reviews of all.
