text data in grid format (VB 6)

I have a text file which I wish to display in a grid format. I have done this through MSFlexgrid. (msflxgrd.ocx)

    I have following questions.

    1. Is MS flexgrid control present in all windows environment.
    2. Can I download this free if I have valid MS Office environment.
    3. Where can I get sample codes to display information from text file in effective manner without MS flexgrid.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. No, MS FlexGrid is not part of Windows; it comes with Visual Studio (VB6) and with the developer edition of Office.
    2. If you have one of the above, you can distribute the flex grid with your application. You will have to create an installation package.
    3. Anyone else?

You'll have to explain what you mean by displaying information in an effective manner. You can print the information to a form, you can set up a control array, you can do a bunch of things. "An effective manner" is simply too vague to get any useful answers.
