    Timing Out (Access 2000)

I have a form that I would like to kick users out of if no changes are made within 5 minutes. I know that is a timer interval function, but I need to indicate only start the timer on open of the form or after update of the form. Is there any simple way to do this?

    Thanks

Are you using the clock, or just setting a TimerInterval value that fires the Timer event when the specified time has passed? I think the latter is what you want to do. Basically you set the TimerInterval on form Load, and then reset it to 5 minuets (50,000) on the BeforeUpdate event for the form. Then in the Timer event procedure, you can close the form. Alternatively, you could simplify things a bit by setting the TimerInterval on Load, and then check the IsDirty property in the Timer code and close the form if False.
