    Custom Toolbars (MSO2K)

Where are all the specifics (titles, menu item names, button text etc. stored? Are they in a file, or the registry?

    Regards,

Toolbar customizations for Outlook are stored in a binary file named Outcmd.dat; for Outlook 2002 on Windows XP this file is in Cocuments and SettingsusernameApplication DataMicrosoftOutlook (a hidden folder, so make sure that you see hidden files and folders if you go looking for it.)

I didn't seem to get back a custom toolbar I had set... perhaps I missed it somehow...

If you're looking to carry a custom toolbar from O2K to O2003, the change in format may prevent this from happening.

    unka...:

That's OK, I suppose... if it holds up *till* then, and after which I can do it *once* more and it'll hold up (again), that'll still be better than then present (at least from this pov (imho)...

    Regards,
    Chuck
