Movie Maker (Win XP PRO SR-1)

According to Help, I should be able to run Movie Maker by selecting Start, All Programs, Accessories, Movie Maker. It isn't there but I can run Movie Maker by selecting the .exe file. Any idea why it isn't where it belongs?

On my machine, it isn't under Accessories, it's at the very bottom of the first list of Programs in All Programs. HTH

In my Windows XP, the shortcut to Movie Maker is in the Start | All Programs | Accessories | Entertainment submenu. But if it is lacking there too, you can drag Moviemk.exe to the Start button, wait until the menu opens, then drag it to All Programs etc. and finally drop it where you want it. Windows will create a shortcut.

Isn't it something, the way these OS installations go. Here's three of us (four, really) who have different Start Menu structures for the same program! My Movie Maker IS in the Start, Accessories location and I took no role in putting it there. My XP Pro was installed straight from the CD and of course updated with SP-1, etc. since that time. Go figure.
