Hey, that looks great! They have a ton of classes, and I read some of the descriptions, and they don't appear to be fluff. I think I'll try one out. Thanks for posting the link.

Re: Free Training

I've had a quick look, and it seems ok. I looked at Word and it was very vary basic, but it would I'm sure get more technical as it goes on. As a trainer, I find just looking at Acrobat files a bit limiting. They do however seem to be professionally put together. My

Re: Free Training

Started working through one of the Unix courses. Parts of the material are pretty basic, and could be condensed. However there is some good material and it is professionally structured. Hate having to view on screen as pdf.
When I have completed the above, I will look at one of the Microsoft topics and assess if suitable for our staff to use, especially as it is free!
As an aside, after contacting them, they have advised that they are now considering providing printed material, although this would be chargeable.
On a first look, I would give this site at least a 7 out of 10.

Re: Free Training

Here's another free training site I found

http://www.netfolk.co.uk/netfolk/access/

it'as mainly an Access site, but they seem to offer other programs as well.

Re: Free Training

On a side note:

http://www.freeskills.com[/b] Has begun charging for thier classes. The cost is $60.00 per 1 year membership. I still find it a good resource tho, as thier 'free' area links to a few 'lesser-known' specialty sites, all geared toward learning that elusive skill...

Just FYI!
