Animating an object off the slide

It's great to animate an object onto a slide. Now that you have it there, can you do something to remove it using an animation so it spirals off the screen, for example.

yes, place the object in the workarea outside of the slide. But you need to find an animation that will draw it across the slide.
For instance, place the object on the right hand side and use a fly from left animation so that it travels across the face of the slide.

Yes, I know that technique. It brings something across a slide. That isn't what I want to do. I want to bring an object into the slide on one slide. Later on another slide I want to animate the same object which is present on the slide off the slide.

What I should have said is that PPT doesn't have any animate off the slide methods. However, you can sometimes give the appearance of animating off the slide by careful manipulation of the objects. But not all animations will give the effect. And not all objects either. The sample shows what I mean. I'm hoping that the next version will have a full fledged animate off feature. <img src=/S/sigh.gif border=0 alt=sigh width=15 height=15>
