    NT Start up screen

How do I replace the default NT startup screen with a bitmap of my choice?

A quick Google search on "Windows NT logon screen" turned up the instructions. Always Google first!

From memory, winnt256.bmp, lanma256.bmp and lanmannt.bmp seem to be the default images (if it is what I think you are thinking of).
Copy/Rename the original(s), then create your own .bmp with that name.

No problem, I used to know this by heart but I have not used Windows NT 4 for several months and that is just one of those tricks that collects dust with non-use. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
