    Headers & Footers (Access 2002)

Access by default inserts its own headers and footers when a datasheet is printed. Although there is very little need to print a datasheet, if the user decides to do so, Is there any way the user can change/personalize these headers/footers? Thanks in advance for any info.

About the only thing I know of beside sizing the column widths and setting the overall fonts for the display, is the ability to use captions for field names - but I don't recommend it as someone looking at the datasheet printout won't be able to find field names with those names in the table or query. In point of fact, we don't generally let users get at tables and query results in anything but very controlled circumstances.

As far as I know, the only option you have is to turn off page headers and footers completely, in File | Page Setup from datasheet print preview. I don't think you can customize the page header or footer. That's what reports are for.
