    Hyperlinks (word 2000)

Can someone please explain the following problem to me:

A colleague of mine is creating a word document. On it are two hyperlinks, one a url and the other should open an email with our address on. The whole text is in one text box and the url hyperlink works but the email hyperlink takes you to my colleagues documents and settings folder. However when I convert the text box to a frame I can have a hyperlink which opens an email addresses to us! Confused.

    Thanks
    Regards

Your problem is mentioned several times in the Microsoft newsgroups. Suggested workarounds are converting the text box to a frame, as you have done, or use a table instead of a text box. I didn't find an explanation.
