Symantec can't clean the virus? (XP)

As per the screenshot, you will see that Symantec cannot clean this virus.
Have any of you had the same problem and how did you deal with it?

    Thanks.

Since the quarantine has succeeded, there is nothing practical for your to worry about it. Symantec will continue to attempt to clean this with every further update that you download - not to say that it will succeed! <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15> If you wish, you can navigate to the quarantine directory and see if you can delete the offending item.

I haven't researched this particular malware, but I can say this in general: "cleaning" is effective for actual real program files and documents that get viral code tacked on to them nondestructively. If the virus inserts code destructively (replacing program or document data), or if the entire file is a trojan, then "cleaning" will fail. The AV software usually will keep you safe in another way (either quarantine, rename, or delete), but if you recognize the file name as one that contained data or performed a useful function, you might need to fish out your backups to fully recover what was lost.

I managed to get some more info. from http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen...vgate.g@mm.html and a cleaner.
