    Spell checking the reply (Outlook XP)

    Does anybody know why my OL XP spell checks the original message when I reply? The check box

    I have a feeling I get this too, but only with plain text messages I'm replying to.....

    If I change the format, it will check. For example, if I reply to an HTML format e-mail but change to plain text format. Otherwise, mine seems to ignore the earlier message.

    Remove the check box, close the pane, and close Outlook. Restart Outlook and add the check mark back in. Some times things just need to be KICKED started.

    Are you using the option to include > at the begininng of the line? if so, it's expected behavior and a notice is displayed when you enable it.
