    Track Changes (Office 2000 SP3)

I worked on a depo transcipt last week resetting the page breaks. I did this by removing hard returns. When I went into the document today, none of the manual pagination I did is still in the document. I had to manually paginate the document because the pages had to break at the same place as the original but text was added and deleted on various pages which caused the pages to no longer break as they should.

Any idea why I lost the manual paginating?

I'm confused. You used "hard" page breaks (Insert>Break>Page Break -or- Ctrl+Enter) and those vanished mysteriously? Is there any chance that when you saved the document, it was not in "Word document" format but in some kind of plain text format?

    Hi Jan:
When you say you lost the manual pagination, you mean the page breaks disappeared? If you put in the page breaks with track changes turned on, did you show & accept the changes?
