Change user pic

I tried to change my user pic ( which I've done before ) but it keeps reverting to my present pic.

I cleared the relevant box that had my old gif, pointed out the location of the new gif, which is only about 2K. Clicked submit, checked back and there was my old gif file back in place?

What am I suddenly doing wrong?

See if Shift+Refresh will do the trick. There is a discussion about this starting at <post#=326584>post 326584</post#>.

I tested this also and, despite various reloads, had the same problems as <!profile=Viking33>Viking33<!/profile> and the posters on the other thread.

Deleted three times over. Tested with and without the new pic having a different filename. Refreshed all over the place. No change whatsoever.

(Edited by DaveA on 12-Jan-04 16:28. )
Make sure that you "DELETE" the entry in the small pane and then select that you are uploading a user pic and select the image from your system and submit.

The clue is that the old image path and name needs to be removed.

    Re: Change user pic

Just tried it, the uploading it NOT delete the old pic. I just tried uploading a new "gif" type and my OLD OLD gif file is being used. The one I had been using was a jpg type. I think Mike and Company need to look at why these are NOT being removed and/or overwritten.

    No good, Hans.
Same results as unkamunka and I assume others in that other thread.

Been there, done that, Dave. Same results. Seems like the olduser pic REALLY isn't being deleted at all.
