Enable multimedia preview in every folder (XP Pro SP1+)

In Win2K I had the ability by default to play any .wav, mp3, mpeg, etc, in the mid to lower left side of any folder. It was like a thumbnail preview, all I had to do was highlight the file and a small player would appear instantly and I could run it without opening any program. How can I enable this very missed feature in XP?

The feature you mention was part of the previous incanration of Windows Media Player. Have you enabled the Media Bar in IE? If you have, have you tried to browse your music folders with IE? HTH
