Folder's Read Only Attribute Won't Go Away? (XP)

    Hello,

As per the attached screenshot, I've put the stages of my process & linked them with arrows. First I see the folder permission is Read Only. Then I unselected that and applied that to the folder & subfolders.

XP seems to be doing it ok, but when I check back after completion, it's set back to Read Only again.

What could be the reason for this stubbornness?!

There is a still active thread starting <!post=here,329929>here<!/post>. Have you tried the Microsoft Knowledge Base (and other) solutions suggested in that thread?
