Prompt for save after sending (Outlook 2000 SP3)

I have a user who states that at a previous company, when he would send an email, he would get a prompt asking him where he wanted to save that Sent email. He does not want to save everything automatically to the Sent Items folder. Has anyone heard of a feature like this (maybe in another version of Outlook?) or would you know how to set this up in Outlook. I thought that perhaps setting up a rule would be the solution. However, when I attempted to set up a rule to check all messages upon sending, then perform a "custom action", there is nothing in the my Custom Action drop down list. Any thoughts on that too? Thanks! Sat.

The user was probably using Lotus Notes.
