    Drill into Data (Access 2000)

Is there any way to develop drill down forms or sub forms of data? I have a large table- with 4 hierarchical levels. Level A would be a total of appropriate level B . Level B would be a total of appropriate Level C. Level C would be a total of all appropriate level D.

I would like to be able to drill into a level A, and bring up all relevant Level B, and so on. Can someone help me think about this? I am thinking that I have to set up the table with Level A name, Level B name, Level C name.

I would like to avoid multiple queries, as that can get messy.

I think I just need a push in a direction.....

Re: Drill into Data (Access 2000)

You can use a series of combo boxes to successively limit a selection. See for example the following MSKB articles:
ACC2000: How to Synchronize Two Combo Boxes on a Form
ACC2000: How to Create Synchronized Combo Boxes
There are also several threads in this forum; search for cascading combo. For example: <post#=132255>post 132255</post#>.
