    Office 2003 - Outlook (MS Office 2003)

It seems that when I open "Tools - Options - " everything is too large to fit in the window. The window is not scalable. I will try to attach a snapshot to show what I mean. The same thing happens in Word, and i assume in the other programs. I have no idea what I did to cause this, but would greatly appreciate help to fix it.

    Thank You

Wow, that's not so good. In an earlier version of Word (I think) there was a problem with one of the tabs in the Tools>Options dialog losing half of its content. Now, if only I could remember the solution. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> In your case, I wonder whether your Windows display settings could be causing this? If you save your current settings and switch back to the Windows default temporarily, does that fix the problem?

    Start button>Settings>Control Panel>Display> Themes tab>Save As...

then change to either Windows XP or Windows Classic.

If you are not using Windows XP, the above will be somewhat different. But I couldn't tell you how different...

Somehow your default font for Outlook has become corrupted. This is Tahoma. See if you can download a fresh copy from the Microsoft site. There appears to be a link to a copy in the middle of <!mskb= 188081>Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 188081<!/mskb>. Alternatively, you could try the Windows Download Centre.

The solution was an Office service pack, Jefferson. I seem to recall that on just one of the tabs, the controls sort of slid halfway down so that the bottom ones were not visible. The rest of the tabs on the dialog were fine. I can't recall whether that was Word 97 or Word 2000 though.

    Hi Guys:
Actually, the problem arose in Word 2000 & the solution was to delete the DATA key & have it rebuilt. That's the 4th step in <post#=197827>post 197827</post#>, but I don't know if it's applicable to this problem.

Fixing the Tahoma font sems to have taken care of the problem.
    Thank you very much.
