CTRL+End shuts down (Office XP - Word -XP Pro)

Recently when I used the CTRL+End in Word, I got an XP shutdown rather than the move to the end of the document that I have used for years.

    Any explanation/solution?
    Win 8, Firefox 16.0.2, Thunderbird 15.0.2

Is this specific to one document? If so, the document may have become corrupt. Try to copy everything except for the last paragraph mark into a new document.

Does it occur in some, but not in all documents? If so, try to find out what the problem documents have in common. A template perhaps?

If it occurs in all documents, look at Phil Rabichow's <!post=Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in Word (97/2000),197827>Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in Word (97/2000)<!/post>.

    Hi Halek:
One thing you can do is press Alt+Ctrl+Plus sign on the num pad. Then press Ctrl+End. That will tell you if your shortcut has somehow been reassigned. If so, you can change it through Toools/Customize/Keyboard button/Commands tab/All commands & look for EndofDocument. Then assign Ctrl+End to it.
    Hope this helps,
