    Junk mail exceptions (OL 2000)

I am confused about the order of rules. The junk filter is sending some emails to the Junk folder that I want to receive in my Inbox. I know I can add the senders to the Exceptions list, but I am not sure about the order of the rules. Will I need to move the exception rule above the Junk and Adult senders rules, or would that mean that after being excepted the junk and adult rules would kick in and move the messages again?

There is a Rule which states "Stop processing any more Rules". Perhaps it could help if you added this to some of the Rules that are causing you trouble? HTH

Thanks for the reply. It's not that I am getting a lot of trouble, it's just that I wasn't sure whether the exception rule should come before or after the junk mail and adult content rules. - Ian

If you have an Exception Rule, it should come before the Junk/Adult Rules. My impression was that you had a Rule to put the mail elsewhere and that it was getting highjacked into Junk Mail. That does, however, seem not to be the case. HTH
