    File Date Stamp (XP)

    How do I change the date stamped on a file? I used to use a pgram named Fileprobe for this, but it has vanished and is no longer available. thx.

    A google search for Windows touch file date turns up a lot of programmes that will do this job.

    Attribute Changer will change almost any file attribute (freeware). See <post#=332327>post 332327</post#> .

    For a GUI version I use SetFileDate.

    For a command-line utility I use TOUCH from any of the NT4/W2K/WXP Resource Kits.
