Hyperlink to new window (2000)

I have a spreadsheet, one sheet of which I publish as a web page. At the moment a hyperlink on this sheet opens the target page in the same IE window. Is there a way to edit the hyperlink so that it opens the target page in a new IE window?

TIA

I think this is an "IE Setting"
In IE: Tools - internet options
"Advanced" tab
Under "Browsing"
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"

That would solve the issue for me, but what about other users? Is there a way of specifying target = _blank in the hyperlink?

I don't think you can do this from a hyperlink. It would need VB.
Assign (eg) the macro below which calls a routine to open IE, make it visible, and navigate.

Sub OpenWOPR()
LaunchWebsite "www.wopr.com"
End Sub
Sub LaunchWebsite(sUrl As String)
Dim IEApp As Object
Set IEApp = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")
With IEApp
.Visible = True
.navigate (sUrl)
End With
End Sub
