    2003 - Word Attachments (2003)

    Hey there

Whenever I open a Word Attachment in Outlook 2003, the document opens up in Print Preview. Any idea how I can change this to Normal or Print View?

When I open Word on its own, it opens the way that I want it.

This is a Word setting, not an Outlook setting. It's not actually Print Preview, rather it is Reading Layout and this option is contained in Word settings.

As per Microsoft help, "When you open a Microsoft Word document that you have received as an e-mail attachment, Word automatically switches to reading layout view. If you don't want to use reading layout view for e-mail attachments, clear the Allow starting in Reading Layout check box on the General tab of the Options dialog box (Tools menu)."

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Reading layout on my machine is completely distorted and <img src=/w3timages/censored.gif alt=censored border=0> useless.
