I'm using Outlook 98. How does one set the default font for Contacts? If I open a Contact, click in the main field, go to Format > Font, then I don't see an expected button for Default (like Word has).

Thanks, Mary. I wasn't aware that there was a general default for almost all of the 'folders'. I expected Tasks, Calendar, mail messages, Contacts, etc. to have separately selectable font settings.
However, I see that there *are* separately selectable font settings for Notes. I just discovered for the Notes default font :
1) Select any of the above 'folders' including Notes.
2) Tools > Options > Preferences > Note Options button > Font button
3) Make the desired font settings there, then OK.
