    Print quality (2002 SP2)

Is there any way of setting printer quality for a form so that it sticks? I can set the quality to high and it prints at high quality, if I print while closing the print dialog. But next time the form prints it is in the default low quality. There is a fair bit of formatting code between records, which can

You can't make it stick. In 2002, you can work directly with PrtDevMode settings using the Printer object, but I haven't been happy with that in Access and went back to using the API GetPrinter calls.

Thanks Charlotte. The work around I came up with is to use SendKeys to waltz through the print dialog, selecting what's required. It's a kludge, but does work OK, but I'll have to remember to change it when I change my printer.
The API GetPrinter calls sound far better. Where do Iget info on that?

Thanks Charlotte. Unfortunately it's a bit beyond my capabilities.

If you need ready-built code, take a look here. Actually, the example at AllAPI.net gives you virtually the same thing if you copy and paste it into a standard module.
