    Page empty (IE6)

For some reason when I try to go to a specific URL (log in page for a secure site) it comes up blank but at the bottom it says Done. I have tried to delete off line content and cache but to no avail. It used to work fine. The only difference is I loaded Panda AV and firewall software. It doesn't affect any other sites. Any thoughts on how to get this page to load with information and not blank?

    Thanks in advance,

While I'm not familiar with Panda, Have you checked you AV & firewall settings to see if they might be excluding that particular site. ( I assume you are talking about only one site access?) Are there any pop-up stoppers installed?
Have you tried to put that site in your "Trusted Zone" wth lower security settings? Check IE Internet settings>security tab.

    Re: Page empty (IE6)

    Bob,

Yes, I am using the System Mechanic Pro program that has a popup killer and Panda firewall and AV. I disabled all 3 and still could not get the site to load. Also, I checked IE security and lowered the settings -- still could not get it to load. This is an investment website and sometimes when you navigate a small window appears the states "This page contains both secure and non secure items, do you wish to show non secure items?" there is a yes and no button. To the best of my knowledge I have never hit the "no" button but if I did would this cause this problem. If so, how do I "undo" it? Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Chuck

    Chuck,

I don't think that answer to viewing a secure or non secure item "sticks". It's just for that particular viewing of that site at that time.

I would go to the security tab in IE options and add your site URL to the "trusted" sites. Click on IE options>security>trusted sites>Sites. Type in your problem site's URL in the "add this site to the zone" click ADD and OK out.
