    Range names in formulas (2000)

Hi anyone that can help! I remember vaguely a tip that enables you to view Range Names from the drop down Name box when creating a formula..i.e once you enter the = sign, the name box just gives you Functions, but I'm sure there's a way of displaying the range names so you can just select from the list to add in to your formula.

    TIA

If you press F5 (or Ctrl-G) while entereing a formula, you will be presented with a list of range names from which you can make a selection.

Not sure, but F5 gives the Go To command, whereas F3 provides Paste Name box.

    <big>(</big>You're both right, you know!<big>)</big>

    To clarify,

F-5/Ctrl-G allows you to select a range in a Go To dialog. (There's also a drop-down list of range names in the Name box on the left end of the formula bar. These are Go-To things)

F-3 opens a list to select from in building formulas. Works wherever formulas are being written/edited.
