Hardware Finds and Wants

There ought to be a companion forum for Hardware Finds and wants.

What I am looking for is one of these laptop privacy screen protectors. You know the filters that kinda make you only see the laptop screen from certain angles, and thus providing an element of privacy while in public places with a laptop.

I do know what you mean but I don't know if I've seen those things around lately. I assume you have Googled around and also checked out the larger hardware sites.
I'll have to do some checking to see if I can locate one for you.

Kinda that thing <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>. But Wow did you see the price? I have a 15.1" screen, and I think I will be looking for the same, in that size.

I could not imagine how expensive these things are. But then when I look at the technology, I guess these glasses are Polarizing Filters.

So if that is the case, I guess the prices are justified.
