    Prevent viewing of records (2k)

I want to allow a user to enter new records AND Prevent the user from editing or even VIEWING records previously entered by other users. Then I want to be able to view all records.

So far I have disabled Navigation buttons (hidding them) and created a macro that GOES TO A NEW RECORD with the ONOPEN event. This works fine except when the new user uses the PageUp key in the first field -- which exposes previous records.

I thought about using a textbox for me to enter a password, which would allow enabling the nav buttons via an if clause in a macro.

    Any ideas to simplify this?

If you open the form in DataEntry mode, the user will only be able to see the records he enters in that session. He will not be able to browse the recordset in the form.
