Input Filter for Appleworks .cwk file (Word 2002)

The subject says it all really. Does anyone know if there is an input filter available to enable word to display an Appleworks .CWD file that I received as an email attachment?

I don't think there are any filters available, though there are several programs that can convert Appleworks format to Word. For just 1 document this is an expensive option.

Appleworks can save files in RTF format or even to Word format (using MacLink Plus which should be available on Apple systems). The best solution will be to ask the person to re-send the document in RTF/Word format.
