    Virtual PC 2004 OR VM-Ware?

I'm interested to find anyone who has worked with either of these products, and could give a brief opinion from personal experience, or could point me at substantial reviews.

Anyone who could compare these with VM as run "in the olde days" on IBM mainframes gets special marks!

    Thanks!

I assume your on a MAC... I haven't used 2004 but the last few versions were resource hogs. I did use VM ware on a linux box to run multiple flavors of linux and windows 98 and it worked great. Just need memory...

    Mike

    MAC? Eeek! No, that's Bowlie!

I'm talking large PCs, running lots of (probably different) flavours of *Windows*...

Sorry, never used Virtual PC (any version). Couldn't see the point of running Windows on a Mac. Sorta like kissing your sister!

    Bowlie

Well found! It's a pity that the tests were on 98SE, and the article is a pig to print.

I'll study it in more depth, and thanks again!
