Importing Outlook Express Rules (2003 Professional)

Prior to using Outlook 2003, I used Outlook Express 6 in Windows XPSP1 Pro. I had a rule in OE that stated that whenever a message from my sister came into my Inbox, it'd be highlighted in red. In Outlook, I can have those messages posted with a red flag, but I don't see a way to get them to show up in red type in my Inbox. I also don't see any way of actually telling Outlook to use the rules that I previously used in Outlook Express, although there's supposedly a way of doing this. I'm currently using Outlook as my default POP3 email client. How can I get it to color messages from a particular sender in my Inbox? I'm visually impaired, and I find the tiny flags on the side don't quite cut it. Having color coding -- as in Outlook Express--works really well. I can't quite figure out how to import any rules from Outlook Express. Is there a way?
    Thanks.

Re: Importing Outlook Express Rules (2003 Professional)

Outlook doesn't use Rules for this. If you choose Tools>Organize..., the second option Using Colors lets you add Automatic Formatting options to your current view. If you want to do this for more than one folder, you can save the view and apply it to them. Normally, though, the Inbox is all most people are interested in. Hope this helps.

    Thank you very much -- that was exactly what was needed. <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>
