AT-Logic 15 more

You guys are too fast - so here's 15 more - I'll wait until they are all answered.

    1. Do they have a 4th of July in England?

    2. If you only had one match and entered a room in which there was a kerosene lamp, an oil heater, and a wood burning stove, which would you light first?

    3. If a doctor gave you three pills and told you to take one every 1/2 hour, how long would they last?

    4. If you had a rectangular shaped house with all sides facing south and a bear comes up and looks through the window, what color is the bear?

    5. Divide 30 by

    Stuart

I know that the Brits tend to "dig in" when it comes to holding onto tradition, but I believe that they did make the swap to the Gregorian calander in 1752... albeit 170 years after the rest of Europe. I also realize that these changes do take time to filter through, especially in regional centres steeped in tradition. If this is the case where you live, please adjust you system clock.

    Alan,

I don't hold with these new fangled changes. There's no way we're going to let the government take 11 days of our lives just like that.

Hmmm ... perhaps if you could prove that, historically, September 3 to 13, 1752 were paid bank holidays and further lost days will have to be similarly regarded? I'll bet you get a few takers then!

Kjmaris and Stuart win - Kjmaris got # 6 and Sturart got # 7 - and yes they minted gold coins back then - just how would they know it was before Christ?

    More?

    or that's enough?

All of the walls face south if the house is on the north pole. The bears from all over go there for the and

Yep - only one place in the world where all side could face south - white is it.
